With firmware 2.8.4 low speaker volume might occur when using it for media playback e.g. music or streaming YouTube.

This will occur if the equalizer settings have been adjusted to other values than standard.

We are working on resolving this challenge as soon as possible and aim to release a new firmware update by November 11, 2024.

As temporary workaround there are the following options:

Option 1) Reset Equalizer settings to default in Jabra Direct, available for download here for Windows and Mac

1. Click the Jabra Direct icon in the taskbar.
2. Click Audio:
   
3. Click restore:
   
4. In some scenarios, a power cycle of the headset is needed, after restoring the Equalizer settings to default.

Option 2) Reset Equalizer settings to default in Jabra Sound+, available in App Store and Google Play Store

1. Open Jabra Sound+ and scroll down to Music Equalizer (Image reflects Jabra Sound+ on Android)
2. Click the reset button and when the Equalizer is reset it should reflect the below image, with a flat curve:
   

Option 3) Alternatively, you can downgrade your headset to previous version 2.7.7 until the new firmware is released

1. To downgrade the headset, Jabra Direct is required which can be downloaded for Windows or Mac here
2. Once installed, follow the steps in this guide to downgrade your headset. It is important to select firmware version 2.7.7 for the downgrade.
